EU Budget
The European Parliament's Budgets Committee is one arm of the EU's Budgetary authority. The committee's influence in budgetary matters and all matters relating to financial resources of the EU is central to the Parliament's role in shaping EU policies.
Employment and Social Affairs
My secondary committee in the European Parliament is Employment and Social Affairs. The committee deals with all aspects of employment policy including health and safety, vocational training, free movement of workers and pensioners.
